ZoomSystems is managed by a team of executives with deep roots in technology, manufacturing, engineering, product development, and business strategy. A pioneer in the industry, the company was founded 2002 and has since become the global leader in automated retail.

Elias Bizannes
Chief Executive Officer and Board Member

Elias Bizannes is CEO of ZoomSystems and a member of its Board of Directors. Since joining ZoomSystems in 2017, he's been focussed on leading the business into a new period of growth. Prior to that, Elias worked for close to a decade in Silicon Valley, at venture capital firm CRV, big data startup Vast.com, and on his own businesses. He previously worked in Australia for Big Four professional services firm PwC.

Elias earned his Bachelor of Commerce  in accounting and finance from Sydney University and also holds a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting. He is licensed as a Chartered Accountant globally and as a CPA in the United States.

David Popler
Chief Revenue Officer

As CRO, David is responsible for leading Zoom’s Sales, Business Development, Marketing, Account Management, and Locations Development functions. David joined the company in early 2010 and his background includes extensive experience leading sales, marketing, corporate development, and operations in technology companies. He was previously CEO at GoingOn where he led the company in developing a web community platform for education. David has also held executive positions at Corrigo, Andersen Consulting, and Merck Pharmaceuticals.

David holds an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, an M.S. in Manufacturing Engineering from the McCormick School of Engineering at Northwestern University, an M.S. in Computer Science from Villanova University, and a B.A. in Computer Science from Rutgers University.  

Joël Lindheimer
Chief Technology Officer

Joël is the ZoomSystems CTO and is responsible for the definition and management of ZoomSystems’ proprietary automated retail commerce platform.  He is also responsible for managing ZoomSystems’ automated retail hardware platform. Joël joined the company in June of 2009.  His background includes extensive experience leading R&D in technology companies. He was previously Chief Architect at ClickCommerce, and held Sr. and Principal Engineer positions at Optum and WorldChain.

Joël holds a Ph.D. from University of California, Davis, an M.A. from San Francisco State University, and a B.M. from Dominican University, San Rafael.

Brian Marszowski
Vice President of Finance

Brian is VP of Finance and is responsible for Finance, Accounting, Compliance, and Human Resource functions. He has held leadership roles at various startups in Silicon Valley, including Intermolecular and Coinbase. He has extensive experience in guiding companies through establishing accounting/finance functions, turnaround efforts and initial public offerings. Brian started his career at KPMG.

Brian holds a B.S. in Accounting from Santa Clara University and is a California licensed CPA.

Pamela Strazdas
Vice President of Customer Success

As the Vice President of Customer Success, Pamela leads all client engaging functions including Account Management, Project Management, Supply Chain, and Digital Marketing. Her client responsibilities span North America and Europe. Pamela’s professional experience prior to joining ZoomSystems was with industry leading retailers and wholesalers such as Levi Strauss & Co. Her background includes leadership positions in business planning and demand forecasting disciplines. Pamela brought her passion to the technology industry through ZoomSystems in 2010.

Pamela holds a B.S. in Merchandising and Consumer Studies from the University of Arizona. 

Michael Law
Vice President of Operations

Michael is the VP of Operations and is responsible for managing global Warehouse, Field Services, and Call Center Operations to support ZoomSystems’ automated retail software and hardware platforms. Michael joined the company in June 2006 and he has 10+ years of experience in Information Technology and management. Previously, Michael has held lead and management positions at start-up and private companies including WarrantyNow and TDA where he managed and supported IT/Network implementations and deployments.
