Kanji is responsible for ZoomSystems’ Japan business. Prior to ZoomSystems, Kanji worked at True Religion Japan Inc., where he was responsible for managing its Japan market, including the wholesale and retail business. He also managed retail operations for The Swatch Group Japan KK and was responsible for real estate development for Nike Japan Corp. As President of Reebok Japan Inc., Kuwahara launched its franchise retail business and established streamlined organization, making the business profitable in just two years. Kuwahara also held multiple senior positions with Levi Strauss Japan KK prior to his work with Nike Japan Corp. Kuwahara is a graduate of Nihon University, where he studied Management, and completed retail studies at Monash University.
