Russ oversees all legal matters for ZoomSystems. Prior to joining ZoomSystems, Russ served as general counsel for two other emerging growth technology companies, Virtela Communications and ZANTAZ. While at ZANTAZ, Russ played a key role in supporting the growth of the company from $18 million to $125 million in annual revenues, and eventually the successful sale of the company to Autonomy Corporation for $400 million. Russ was an attorney at two prominent law firms before becoming an in-house counsel, most recently with Venture Law Group where he practiced corporate and securities law for technology companies and venture capital funds, and prior to that with Bingham McCutchen where he practiced commercial litigation for large corporations and accounting firms.

Russ received his B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Washington, and his J.D., Order of the Coif, from the University of Washington School of Law.
